Mission Statement
Located in Southern California, the
Westcoast Learning Development Center is
a Headstart program and consulting
agency to foster care institutions,
public and nonpublic schools, and a
children's motivational product
development organization. Our consultants include a
Psychologist, Special Education Teacher, Speech Language
Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, Counselors, and
a health consultant.
The center's mission
is to provide high quality counseling,
behavior intervention, and learning
development services to school aged
students from 5-22 years old who have
been identified through the IEP process
with the following disabilities:
Specific Learning Disability , Multiple
Disabilities, Attention Deficit
Hyperactivity Disorder, Emotional
Disturbance, Autism, and Mental
Retardation. In addition, we offer
psycho educational and career
assessments to our clients, with a free
consultation.
With the decline in academic
achievement and the disinterest in
education among our youth, our
organization strives relentlessly
towards developing effective and high
quality motivational products to help
our youth to develop and to maintain
their desire to achieve their goals and
career aspirations. Our products are
also considered "cool" and
"fun" to our youths, making
them more apt to apply the information
presented on our CD’s in a positive
way.
